Just hover the Start button to see the menu, they say

The Start menu was finally brought back in Windows 10 after years of controversy, but now users aren't exactly satisfied with the way it's working and want Microsoft to adjust the default behavior.

One of the most interesting suggestions that are currently available on UserVoice requires Microsoft to make the Start menu available by simply hovering the Start button with the mouse. Basically, whenever you move the mouse cursor in the left bottom corner, the Start menu should show up.

As for the Start screen, this should be accessible by double-clicking the Start button, the feature request reads, so this way everyone can use exactly the feature they want.

“It would be both very ‘aero peek-esque’ as well as interactive,” one user writes.

At this point, Microsoft's default behavior for the Start menu is based on the Continuum feature which allows 2-in-1 PC users to jump from the desktop to the Modern UI without interrupting their work. The Start menu becomes a Start screen by simply switching it to full screen, so once again, users are allowed to choose which one they like more.

This suggestion, however, is at least worth a look at, even though it might be really annoying to see the Start menu popping out whenever you move the mouse cursor in the bottom left corner. And yet, it remains to be seen if Microsoft is indeed planning to change the behavior of the Windows 10 Start menu in the upcoming builds.
