A new build for VirtualBox is now available for download. It is a maintenance release, so its purpose is to fix things up and improve overall stability of the application.

The list of changes for VirtualBox 4.1.14 is quite brief and touches on the network component, where the problem with packet larger than MTU-4 when PCnet or PRO/1000 was bridged to certain types of adapters on OS X hosts has been eliminated. In the case of NAT, a segmentation fault occurring under rare circumstances has been fixed.

3D support was also improved, by fixing the Windows WDDM video driver crash for SMP guests and in the case of VRDP (VirtualBox Remote Desktop Protocol) the development team repaired a problem that caused occasional text corruption.
