As I’ve told you recently, City National Bank has decided to replace some of its laptops with Surface Pro tablets, in a move to provide employees with enhanced productivity on the go.

In a clip rolled out today, Microsoft shows how a Surface Pro can improve bank services, as it enhances communication and collaboration, while also offering longer battery life and enhanced mobility.

“Surface allows us to empower our colleagues while providing the type of extraordinary service our clients expect,” City National Bank's Senior Vice President of Business and Technology Services Jim Ellaboudy said.

“Now that bank colleagues can harness all account data in their hands, the level of customized service they can bring to each client is exponentially better with Surface Pro. With that, we are inspired to see Surface Pro changing the way banking is done today.”

While it’s a bit surprising that the City National Bank has actually chosen the original Surface Pro and not the refreshed model, this is another indication that Microsoft’s device continues to be an appealing product for companies looking to boost productivity on the go.
