The company also hints at Spanish version of Cortana

Cortana is clearly a key feature for Microsoft's future operating system, no matter if we're talking about smartphone or desktop platforms, so videos supposed to highlight the true capabilities of the personal assistant do not really come out of the blue.

Today, Microsoft released a new video comparison between Cortana and Siri, once again demonstrating that its own personal assistant is much more advanced than the one developed by rival Apple.

But what's more important is that Microsoft also hinted that a Spanish version could soon be released for Windows Phone consumers who use Cortana, but no specifics were provided.

Cortana is also on track to arrive on the desktop, so it's pretty clear that Microsoft is betting big on this new feature which debuted on Windows Phone 8.1 devices earlier this year.

Windows 10 is the desktop platform which could integrate Cortana, and references for such an implementation have already been spotted in early testing builds. The final version of Windows 10 could also include a fully working build of Cortana, and we're hearing that some preview builds might also see daylight by that time.

In the meantime, Cortana remains exclusively available on Windows Phone, so watch the video below to understand why Microsoft's personal assistant is so much better than Siri. The beginning of the clip is in Spanish, but that shouldn't be a problem to understand that Siri isn't quite your best solution for a digital companion for everyday activities.
