Weave News Reader is a pretty fresh Windows 8 application that allows adopters of Microsoft’s latest operating system to quickly read news and manage sources by categories straight from the Modern UI.

A new version released today comes with a new night-time reading theme for article view, while back buttons are now displayed when reading an article.

What’s more, when you’re using Weave on a desktop or tablet, the article is now centered horizontally on screen, which makes it easier to read content on such devices.

“Weave is a news reader that lets you follow any website or blog you are interested in at any time. We provide a huge set of built-in news sources grouped by categories such as technology, world events, gaming, etc. From there, you can search for any other site you want to add,” the app description states, while also pointing out that both Windows 8 and Windows RT are supported.
