Microsoft rolled out Windows 10 build 10061 this morning for all users enrolled in the fast ring of the Windows Insider program, but those who want fewer bugs and improved performance are most likely waiting for this build to be released for the slow channel too.

In the meantime, if you’re really keen on finding out what’s new in this build and want a little bit extra beside our Windows 10 build 10061 screenshots, Scott Hanselman, a programmer working in the Web Platform Team at Microsoft, has put together a video review of the new version.

Basically, Windows 10 build 10061 is all about the new Mail and Calendar apps, which have already been tested by many of you in the leaked version 10056, and the dark theme configured by default in the operating system.

This is the very first build that comes with such a dark theme enabled by default, but it’s not yet clear whether the same configuration would be used for the final product or not.

If you’ve already installed Windows 10 build 10056, this build doesn’t bring anything too exciting, so in case you’re enrolled in the slow ring, just wait because you’re not missing any important feature. Build 10061 is only available via Windows Update for now, but new ISOs could be released at a later time after it reaches the slow ring.
