Win Toolkit received an update over the weekend, bringing to the table a slew of repairs, some of them touching on actions relating to Internet Explorer 11. Newly added to this version are a fresh RunOnce installer and theme patcher support for Windows 8 and 8.1.

Build 1.4.29 of the application should no longer have trouble integrating the latest web browser from Microsoft. On the same note, the application should now be able to add IE11 even for non-English localizations.

Additional fixes present in the release include detection of the default browser and of unmounted images as well as the possibility to add other images through the All-In-One Disk Creator utility.

Win Toolkit is a freebie designed to help customize a Windows 7/8 ISO image in order to end up with a customized installation kit for the operating system. It can add updates and driver packs as well as remove Windows components the user deems unnecessary.
