Default permission for remote folder includes Execute right

The latest beta version of WinSCP does not bring any new features to the table. The release focuses on hunting down bugs and making the program more stable. There is only one aesthetic change available and it refers to assigning icons to all top-level windows (WinSPC icon is always available in Windows’ Alt+Tab view).

Bug fixing took care of a drag and drop problem, which prevented from copying more than one file. Also repaired in this beta is the crash when the view style in Explorer interface would be changed.

The last bug eliminated in this release of the client refers to the fact that the default permissions for a new remote directory did not include Execute right; the default numeric value for permissions was 0644 instead of 0755 (which includes permission to execute the file).

WinSCP is an open source free SFTP client, SCP client, FTPS client and FTP client for Windows and it is also available in portable version.
