14 DAY TRIAL // Stardock rolled out a new build for WindowBlinds, which sports a fresh interface, various performance improvements and support for both Windows 7 and 8.
The revision number for the current release is 7.95, but it is also a beta build for the upcoming version 8.0 of the application.
It includes the possibility to apply skins to the desktop, customize them with backgrounds, textures and colors as well as the possibility to personalize title bars and buttons.
The looks of the operating system can be further modified to apply various transparency level to the start menu (Windows 7), the taskbar and even application windows.
According to the developer, here you can find thousands of skins to choose from, all free of charge. You can also create your own themes using SkinStudio application, also from Stardock.
