Transparency is all over the desktop in this concept

Microsoft is bringing back some traditional elements of the Aero pack of visual effects, but users expect a lot more than that, so the concepts you can find online right now imagine a desktop that's full of transparency.

This is the case of a concept created by DeviantArt user SN37, which uses transparency as the motif of the whole desktop, so the taskbar and the notification center both look much better than the ones we can find right now in Windows 10 preview build 10074.

Needless to say, these concept too need some refinements, but there's no doubt that many would prefer this design instead of the existing look of Windows 10, so Microsoft had better have a look at all these creations to make sure that its new OS addresses users' expectations more effectively.

In fact, Microsoft did promise to check out concepts that hit the web during the Insider program, so maybe at some point in the future, transparency could become the main visual effect of the Windows 10 desktop too.

In the meantime, Windows 10 build 10074 does show some signs of improvements in terms of aesthetic enhancements, so expect the very next release as part of the Windows Insider program, scheduled to see the light of day later this month, to continue this new approach of the company.
