Windows 10 keeps receiving new features, and although we’re getting really close to the official launch of the new operating system, scheduled to take place on July 29, Microsoft continues work on even more options that could be added very soon.

One of these options is developed for the Photos app, which should start displaying OneDrive albums on your phones and PCs running Windows 10 and thus provide easy access to everything in your cloud account.

Basically, if you keep your photos organized in folders in your OneDrive account, they should all be imported in the Photos app and indexed in albums for easy access. This should clearly come in very handy to those who keep all their pictures in the cloud, but Microsoft says that additional work is still needed before this feature becomes available for everyone.

New Windows 10 builds for PCs and phones are expected to be released this or next week, especially because work on the desktop version advances at a fast pace.

Photos will be available as a universal app in Windows 10, so a similar look and feel should be offered to both PC and phone users when the operating system is complete. The phone version of Windows 10, baptized Windows 10 Mobile, should be ready in October 2015.
