14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft will greatly improve the search option included Windows 8.1, so users will be allowed to search for files, apps, settings, and web-based content without even leaving the Metro UI.
One of the great things about the new search option is the fact that you’ll be able to look for images online with just a few clicks or taps, depending on the type of device you’re using. Basically, all results will be displayed on the Start screen, with suggestions provided as you type.
As you can see in these screenshots posted by Win8China, the new search option would make the most of the Metro UI included in Windows 8.1, so the same Modern design is supposed to assist you as you perform new searches.
The tech giant will officially introduce the new Windows 8.1 Preview at the BUILD developer conference on June 26, so more details will be provided in just a couple of weeks.
