A few minutes ago, it has emerged that Microsoft might ship Windows 8.1 Update 1 as a MSU file that would take care of the installation process all by itself, in the same manner as the other patches released by the Redmond-based tech giant for Windows computer.

Now WZor has published a bunch of photos that show the installation process on a Windows 8.1 computer, confirming that everything is going to be quite an easy task for all those who want to make the move to the new OS version.

As you probably remember, Windows 8.1 was delivered to users through the integrated store and many people actually experienced issues when trying to download and install the update.

This time, however, Microsoft is trying to prevent similar issues by delivering the patch via Windows Update, but a manual download might also be available.
