Windows 8.1 Update 1 will come with a brand new Internet Explorer 11 version that would include several improvements, including a so-called Enterprise Mode that would allow companies to add compatibility for some internal applications.

It turns out that Microsoft will release the same IE11 version of Windows 7 users too and thanks to a leaked build that reached the web today, anyone can give it a try right now.

Internet Explorer 11 for Windows 7 now has Enterprise Mode, but also some other performance and stability enhancements, which means that this build is 100 percent similar to the one you’re going to find in Windows 8.1 Update 1.

Of course, there are no official download links available right now, but you could easily find it on file-sharing websites out there. A backup is obviously recommended before deploying this leaked version, just to make sure that you’re on the safe side in case something goes wrong.

Microsoft is expected to debut the new IE11 version in April together with Windows 8.1 Update 1, but it’s yet unclear whether the company is planning to release the Windows 7 build at the same time or wait a little bit longer before doing it, as it still struggles to move more users to its modern operating system.
