The steps to enabling Aero Lite Glass are pretty easy to follow, but there is a neater solution to it if you don’t want to spend time searching into the System32 folder. One Windows enthusiast compiled a short program that does everything with a click of a button.
The instrument is called Windows 8 Aero Lite Tweaker. It’ll enable the theme on Windows 8, but the developer’s recommendation goes for backing up the current theme before changing it because there is no way to reverse it; but who’d want to give up that nice glass effect?
