Moving from XP or 7 to Windows 8 is going to be traumatic, Georges Khairallah, a network specialist at the Chino Valley Unified School District in Chino Valley, California says, pointing out that most end-users would be confused with the new interface.

Khairallah told NetworkWorld that users need an “excellent” training program for users, as some beginners may need help in exploring the new features packed into the operating system.

What’s more, Pete Lee, engagement manager of SWC Technologies, told the source that businesses may need one year or two before making the move to Windows 8, as most of them would prefer to stick to Windows 7 or even XP.

“There's nothing for the task worker that Windows 8 is going to improve on,” Lee explained.
