Designer creates another interpretation of the upcoming Windows 9

Windows 9 is expected to be released sometime in early 2015, but designers are already creating concepts imagining the upcoming operating system.

As you can see in this concept sent to us by Hassaan Ali, people pretty much expect Microsoft to bring major improvements to the desktop as well, including a revised taskbar and maybe desktop widgets.

In this case, the designer has used larger icons and full transparency for the taskbar, which means that you can’t even see it on the desktop.

Of course, this concept still needs more refinements, but it’s another indication that users want Microsoft to pay much more attention to the desktop side of the operating system and less to the touch-optimized Modern UI.

Unfortunately, sources close to the matter revealed that Windows 9 would continue Microsoft’s switch to touch features, so the Modern UI is here to stay.
