Designer creates concept of a new UX for Windows 8.5 or 9

Windows 8.1’s successor is expected to bring quite a lot of improvements to Microsoft’s modern operating system, including new features to make both the desktop and the Modern UI easier to use.

A video concept posted on YouTube by user JMM Tengco comes with what it’s being called the Threshold UX which improves some options of the operating system for a much friendlier approach.

Metro apps can now be pinned to the taskbar and launched in separate windows, while close, minimize, and maximize buttons are placed in the charms bar alongside share, search, and settings options.

In addition, the sidebar becomes the new taskbar, providing users with an easier option to switch between the running applications, but also with more space on the screen.

Of course, keep in mind that all of these are nothing more than ideas of a designer, so do not expect them to be implemented in future Windows releases.
