Patch Tuesday also brought a number of app updates for Windows 8.1 users, including a new version of Reading List which allows you to save links for later reading.

The official release notes published in the store only point to some bug fixes and Windows Phone support, so nothing major for Windows 8.1 users this time. The app continues to offer the same rich feature package that includes options to add bookmarks with ease, search your content, organize links in categories, and share lists with others.

“With Reading List, you can easily track and manage all of the content you want to get back to later in a beautiful display. You can share content to your list from the web or from other apps and easily come back to it when you have more time. Whatever you like to read or watch, the app makes it easy to save, find and get back to things you like, listing content you've saved in chronological order,” the app description now reads.

The application continues to work like a charm on both desktops and tablets, as it can be used with either mouse and keyboards or touch controls.

Overall, users should quickly launch the store to get the new version as soon as possible, while those who want to do everything manually can download Windows Reading List for Windows 8.1 right now using this link.
