After making available a maintenance release a little over a week after XYPlorer 10.70 rolled out, the file manager has now received another minor update, incrementing the build number to 10.70.0200.

Starting version 10.70 XYPlorer would crash intermittently after using the shell context menu. The systems affected by this malfunction were running the 64-bit version of Windows 7.

However, it seems like the developer managed to find the cause and eliminate it for good in XYPlorer 10.70.0200.

The highlights of the major version (10.70) include new features for the Pro edition, addition of environment variables for Visual Filters, renaming of Flat View option to Branch View.

Beginning with this major version, the application can save and load the full tabset of one of the panes, which includes the layout of the tabs and content. Users of the Pro edition of XYplorer should notice the “Tabsets” menu, which contains all related commands.
