File management tool XYplorer received a new update today, incrementing the version number to 11.70. As usual, no fixes are present in the changelog, just a couple of new features, designed to improve the functionality of the application.

The developer expands the usability of the Floating Preview Zoom by allowing free zooming in and out using “+” and “-” numpad keys. Zoom locking and toggling are now supported.

Floating Preview Rename has also been improved, as users can now rename items directly from the preview screen, using F2 key or the dedicated option in the context menu. On the same note, for users that aren’t too keen on inline renaming, now there is the possibility to do it from modal dialog in Trees and List.

Last on the list of modifications is support for copying tags along with the files.
