Microsoft promotes its Surface tablet using street advertising

It's not that we don't agree with Microsoft's advertising campaign, but we're not sure that painting buildings' walls to promote your products is the right thing to do these days.

We're all supposed to be eco and stuff, so unless they're using environmentally-friendly paint, Microsoft is doing quite a risky thing.

Anyway, another Microsoft Surface street ad can be seen in Chicago, again with the same motif as the one on the liquor store we told you about a bit earlier. Obviously, you can see the “Surface” panel, along with the “Click in” slogan and the typical physical keyboard.

Courtesy of Neowin.net, the picture was made in Chicago on the 1562 North Damen Avenue, in the Wicker Park neighborhood.

Microsoft is obviously tight lipped on the matter, but it seems that the Redmond-based software giant is serious about street advertising this time. At least when it comes to the Surface tablet that will go live next month, on the 26th.
