Web Rep installs correctly in Google Chrome, sound works on Windows 7

A new build for avast! 7 public beta has been released, with several fixes and improvements. The most recent release is 7.0.1399 and reports say that the sounds are now functioning correctly on Windows 7 and pages are displayed correctly in Internet Explorer 9 with Web Rep enabled.

Another notable fix in the latest revision refers to exclusions in behavior shield, which used to disappear. On the same note, Web Rep seems to install correctly in Google Chrome at the moment.

Some issues still remain, though. As explained on their forum, there are problems with Remote Assistance connection when the server is a 32-bit Windows 7 or Vista machine. Also, installers still have trouble when updating or upgrading to a newer build. The help file remains unchanged, so you can’t find your answers there.
