Brings to the table “Automatic RWIN expansion" feature

The latest build for cFosSpeed 7.01 is 1925 and the only modification is that it comes with automatic expansion of Windows’ TCP RWIN. Translated to regular lingo, this means that you can download at full speed, with a delay of 100 milliseconds.

One of this move’s consequences is that system-wide settings of "GlobalMaxTcpWindowSize" or "TcpWindowSize" (under XP) are no longer needed; at the same time, downloads are fast even if Windows 7 auto-tuning feature does not show too much of an advantage.

Also, the fast downloads are available even for applications that cannot achieve the full speed because of the small buffers.

The maximum delay for this feature can be modified, but there will be an impact on the RAM usage.

You can download cFosSpeed from this page.
