Destroy Windows 10 Spying is one of the apps that promise to help you when trying to block Microsoft’s new operating system from phoning home, and every new update is eagerly awaited by quite a lot of people.

Version 1.6 is now available for download, and according to the official release notes, everything inside the app is fully functional, with no major bugs or errors expected to be experienced.

What’s very important is that Destroy Windows 10 Spying also supports Window 10 Threshold 2, which is Microsoft’s new version of the operating system released to users last week.

Threshold 2 comes with almost the same privacy settings as its predecessor, and despite the fact that Microsoft changed the default configuration a little bit, some information is still being sent to the company. And yet, Redmond claims that there’s nothing personal in the details that are actually being collected and that the only reason it cares about this is that it needs crash and error data to improve the overall performance of the operating system.

This is also one of the reasons Microsoft says you shouldn’t install such anti-tracking apps, claiming that some OS services might stop working correctly afterwards.

In the end, it’s up to you to decide whether to send any info to Microsoft or not, so if you’re OK with this, just download Destroy Windows 10 Spying and give it a try on your PC too.
