The Security Release ISO image for May is up for grabs

Microsoft has just updated the Security Release ISO Image with patches launched in May 2016, so if you’re looking for an easy way to install the latest updates on several computers on your network, this is pretty much the easiest way to do it.

The pack comes in the form of an ISO file, which can be easily burned to disc and then used on as many PCs you want, as it provides a more automated solution for patching computers in large networks where deploying via Windows Update is not an option.

And just as it happens every month, this ISO does not include anything else besides Windows security updates. Microsoft wants to give IT admins the chance to easily patch Windows systems, so you won’t find other updates in here, such as those aimed at different software solutions, including Office or other applications.

On the other hand, all Windows versions that are still supported by Microsoft can be patched with this ISO, and these include Windows Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, and 10. Server editions of the OS, as well as Windows RT are also supported too.

Also, keep in mind that the archive only includes security patches, so other performance and optimizations updates are not available. If this is exactly what you’re looking for, then go ahead and download the Security Release ISO image with May 2016 updates.
