Microsoft’s Windows security updates released as part of this month’s Patch Tuesday cycle are now available for download as an ISO image.

The company has rolled out the so-called Security Release ISO Image including the latest Windows security updates to make it easier for IT administrators to install all patches on multiple computers faster and without the need for Windows Update or Internet access.

This month, the company has rolled out a total of 13 security bulletins, including a Flash Player patch that’s rated as critical. There are 6 critical updates for Windows and other software that comes pre-installed in the operating system, such as Edge browser and Internet Explorer, but also for Microsoft Office (note that only Windows updates are included in this ISO image, and patches for other software, such as the productivity suite, are not available).

Overall, the software giant has released 6 critical security updates and 6 labeled as important, and the majority are aimed at the Windows operating system.

Without a doubt, everyone must download and install these updates as soon as possible, especially because they address critical vulnerabilities in Windows. Reboots will be required, so IT admins should have this in mind when planning deployment in their networks.

Absolutely all versions of Windows that still receive support can be patched with this ISO image, including Vista, 7, 8, and 10.
