It deals with regression bugs from the previous stable version

foobar2000 is developing at a pretty fast rate, as the beta build for version 1.1.13 has been released over the weekend. It focuses on doing away with regression bugs from version 1.1.12 and brings to the table a small set of modifications.

Users having playback problems when fade-on-track-advance would be enabled should no longer be bothered by this bug.

As for the modifications available in this release, the list includes ID3v2 compliance, which consists in multiple TXXX being allowed again, with semicolon being used as a multiple genre separator.

Another change touches on ID3v2.3 TYER/TDAT handling. Starting this version it is merged into one “date” field formatted as YYYY-MM-DD.

foobar2000 1.1.13 does not sport too many changes and this might be a good hint that the new version won’t stay in beta for too long.
