Third-party devs create new apps to access Google services

Google has already made it clear enough that it doesn’t plan to release any other Metro apps, so our only hope is that third-party developers would eventually step in and create alternative software tools.

gMusic is one of these apps, as it allows adopters of Microsoft’s new OS to access Google Play Music and listen to music straight from the Metro UI.

In addition, it comes with playlist management options, 5-star rating systems for songs, Last.fm support and live tile support to quickly access your favorite songs.

The app comes free of charge, but in-app adverts are displayed, so those who wish to get a seamless experience need to purchase the premium version available in two different packages, ad-free and ultimate.
