14 DAY TRIAL // It’s really hard to be a hardcore Windows phone user these days because everything seems to be going backwards and not even Microsoft itself appears to be interested in saving the platform.
Microsoft says nothing about Windows phones, developers are leaving, users are doing the same thing, but despite all of these, this mobile operating system continues to have one of the most loyal userbases out there.
There are hardcore fans who continue to cling to hopes of a return that’s only possible with a Surface Phone, and the video below perfectly shows what it’s like to be on Windows phones right now and not willing to give up.
This video was posted on reddit by user /u/tinytitanic and makes so much sense for Windows phone users that it’s funny and sad at the same time. And as user /u/glowerman puts it, “the only thing that would make this better would be the guy looking at a MS logo at the end, only to realize Microsoft has been firing most of these shots.”
Unfortunately, Microsoft doesn’t seem to understand the potential of its mobile platform and prefers to rather stay quiet than step in and do something to save Windows phone. We still hope the Surface Phone to be real, but everyone seems to believe that the ship is sinking anyway, no matter what.
