Microsoft is less about Windows phones and more about Android and iOS these days, so it shouldn’t come as a big surprise that the company has just released a new version of its Arrow Launcher.

Now at version 3.3 (3.3.0.32905 to be more precise), Microsoft Arrow Launcher introduces a few very helpful features that were originally tested as part of the beta program.

For example, the utility page of the launcher now supports multiple widget cards, and this means that you can add your favorite news, music, and weather cards right on this page. Furthermore, this version introduces a calendar card and calendar page, while also bringing passcode support for hidden apps.

Microsoft has also improved page navigation, so you can now swipe right to go back in an approach that reminds of Apple’s iOS, and you can also store more apps within a folder because users tend to install more and more apps without ever removing them.

Auto downloading of wallpaper thumbnails is also available, and so it’s a feature page via overview mode, as the company itself explains in the release notes of this version.

It goes without saying that Android users running this app should update as soon as possible, and you can download the Microsoft Arrow Launcher APK here for quick installation. Additionally, the beta program remains open should you want to test additional features before everyone else gets them.
