The Windows 10 Mobile Creators Update is just around the corner, so if you’re looking for a new device to get you ready for this important milestone for Windows phones, the only place where you should look is the Microsoft Store.

The Redmond-based software giant is running a new sale for Windows phones that makes three different devices available at special prices, including the super-powerful HP Elite X3.

For example, the HP Elite X3 bundle, which includes the HP Elite X3 desk dock, can be yours for $599 unlocked, down from $799, while the Alcatel IDOL 4S, also unlocked, is up for grabs for $400, down from the original price of $470, with a VR goggle package included.

And last but not least, if what you’re looking for is a Lumia device, Microsoft is also selling the Verizon Lumia 735, which runs Windows Phone 8.1 but upgradeable to Windows 10 Mobile, for $129. Oddly enough, this model is not supported by the new Creators Update, so you’ll be stuck with the Anniversary Update.

In addition to these phone models, Microsoft is also offering hefty discounts for accessories, including cases and screen protectors, and obviously, the price cuts are available while supplies last.

As for the Creators Update, it’s projected to launch today, though the rollout will take place in stages, so not everyone will see it in the coming hours.
