Microsoft is making Outlook.com Premium available to all users in the United States and, for a limited time, the company is offering the ad-free email service with a special price.

Outlook.com Premium was launched last year in preview stage, so today the company is finally making the service available for everyone in the United States (more markets could be added soon, but there’s still no ETA from the software giant for the time being).

The premium version of Outlook.com costs $49.99 per year, but if you buy a subscription before the end of March, you get the same package for just $19.95 per year.

As far as the features that Outlook.com Premium brings to paying users, one of the most important is the completely ad-free inbox, which means that you won’t see any banner ads or things like that in your email.

Then, the service comes with support for 5 personalized emails, and if you already own a domain, you can connect it to Outlook.com at no extra charge. Microsoft says that customers are also allowed to share calendars, contacts, and documents, and everything takes place securely thanks to the investments that it’s making in Outlook.com.

As far as the rest of the world is concerned, there’s no word on if and when Microsoft could launch Outlook.com Premium in other markets, but it makes sense for the company to expand availability beyond the US, so expect more announcements in the coming months.
