Microsoft has released a new collection of improvements to Windows 10 apps, so if you’re already running this operating system, launch the store and download them right away.

The entire collection of MSN apps has gotten updated today, including here News, Money, Weather, and Sports. But the most important update is certainly the one for the News app, which contains improvements that were previously released exclusively to insiders.

MSN News now provides users with more control over their own sources, so they can customize the sites they want to read articles from and personalize the default collections that Microsoft is offering when setting up their accounts.

Additionally, there are also enhancements to Microsoft Health, the companion app that allows users to connect their Microsoft Band devices to their Windows 10 PCs. A new firmware update for the Band 2 was released a few days ago, so it’s possible that this new update for the Health app makes it easier to install the new firmware, while also correcting some issues here and there.

OneNote has also gotten its own share of improvements, but details in this regard are not yet available. Some other third-party apps that aren’t developed by Microsoft, among which Viber, have also received some goodies. At this point, the Viber universal app is one very popular messaging app on Windows 10, so it’s good to see it getting updates every once in a while with bug fixes and other enhancements.
