It’s no secret that Microsoft is working hard to improve its Android and iOS apps, even though its focus should be primarily on Windows devices, so today the company released updates for two of its apps that are offered to Apple users.

Outlook Groups has finally reached version 1.10.11, with the update bringing support for the iPad, as the app was previously optimized entirely for the iPhone.

“You have been asking for it, and now you can get the iPad Outlook Groups app from the iPad store that gives the best iPad experience to make you more productive and engage with your groups more effectively,” Apple explains, adding that “numerous other bug fixes and performance improvements” are included in this new version as well.

And then, it’s the Microsoft Authenticator app that also received an update to version 4.1.0. According to Apple, this is the first version that introduces push notification support, making the whole process significantly easier. You can approve the sign-in from the notification, so you no longer have to launch the app to generate and copy codes because everything can be done from the lock screen.

As usual, these updates are shipped to iOS devices through the App Store, so in case they’re already installed on your iPhone or iPad, the new versions should already be available for download.
