Improvements and bug fixes very likely to be included

Microsoft has just released a new update for the Windows 10 Store, and as usual, the company hasn’t also provided a change log with this new version.

This time, however, it’s very clear that the update is all about fixing bugs and improving performance of the store, as the company is hard at work to make it the one destination for everything Windows 10.

The unified Windows Store, now available on both PCs and smartphones, provides access to more content than it did on Windows 8 and 8.1, including movies, TV series, and music albums. Furthermore, once the Redstone update for Windows 10 goes live later this year, Microsoft will also use the store to ship browser extensions for Edge, with a new category to be released when these become available.

Rumor has it that browser extensions will soon be released for insiders, so more such improvements for the store that would allow them to get browser add-ons could follow in the coming weeks

At this point, the Windows 10 Store app is at version 2016.29.13.0 and users are recommended to download and install it as soon as possible. The new build can be downloaded by launching the store and going in the Downloads and updates section (with the default configuration, the store automatically downloads and installs new updates).
