Only limited amount of information provided though

Microsoft has just released updates for several Windows 10 apps, but as per the company’s new approach, very little information about what’s included is actually available.

Redmond no longer provides change logs unless there’s something really worth mentioning in the updates it releases, so chances are that today’s new versions are specifically released to correct bugs and improve overall performance.

The Get Started app, Windows Alarms & Clock, as well as Xbox are included in today’s rollout, and there’s no doubt that this last one is the most important.

According to the details published in the store, and which are very similar to the ones posted when a previous version was released, this update comes with improvements for the featured games section, but also with improved activity feed. Furthermore, it’s supposed to let you “celebrate your achievements” with player-ranking score and statistics.

The Xbox app is expected to receive further improvements in the coming weeks, especially because Microsoft is working to bring all its Windows 10 devices closer in an attempt to offer similar experience everywhere. Xbox One is already getting the Windows 10 treatment and the dedicated PC app is also receiving updates on a very frequent basis.

As usual, all these updates are available in the store and can be downloaded by anyone already running Windows 10 by going over to the Downloads and updates section.
