Build 10586.545 released to non-insider phones today

Microsoft rolled out Windows 10 Mobile build 10586.545 to non-insider devices earlier today, but the company has only now posted a changelog for this new version.

What’s very important to note is that this new version is available with the help of a cumulative update, so it’s not entirely a new build, and just like all the other CUs, this one is specifically focused on fixing bugs and improving performance.

But what’s a little bit odd is that Microsoft’s changelog for this new version is the same as for PCs updated to version 10586.545, and the included information says very little about phones.

In other words, you can have a look at the changelog for yourself (it’s available in the box at the end of the article), but you won’t find much in there if you’re particularly interested in what’s been changed in Windows 10 Mobile build .545.

Although this update doesn’t seem to bring anything too exciting, it’s still worth installing because it likely brings important fixes and improvements, so make sure you get it as soon as possible.

We do know that everyone still on 10586 is expecting the release of the Anniversary Update, but for the moment, Microsoft still doesn’t have a date for this version, and more information will only be provided in the coming weeks to let you know when you can upgrade to 14393.
