Microsoft rolled out a redesigned version of the Trust Center, a rich resource of content on the company’s cloud offering that now includes EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) guidance, audit reports, and security assessments.

For what it’s worth, the Microsoft Trust Center is specifically targeting enterprises, so it’s not a consumer resource. It does, however, include a rich set of info on pretty much everything concerning the software giant’s cloud products, including Azure, Dynamics 365, Office 365, Power BI, Visual Studio Team Services, and Windows Server 2016.

Microsoft says that the new version of the Trust Center comes with access to protected content, including SOC and ISO 27001 audit reports, certifications, and product security assessments. These are available only to customers who have an active or trial subscription to the company’s aforementioned business cloud services.

Additionally, the firm has implemented a GDPR homepage that provides information on GDPR compliance, with Microsoft explaining that customers can find guides on how to use cloud solutions in this regard.

There are also new content areas, such as cybercrime info, accessibility compliance, and pages for finance, health, and media, as well as guidance aimed at specific roles within an organization, such as business managers, tenant admins or data security teams, risk assessment and privacy officers, and legal compliance teams.

The Microsoft Trust Center was launched approximately one year ago and the company promises to continue improving it, with more updates to be released in the coming months.
