Microsoft has just released an update for the Health app available on Windows 10 Mobile, but as per the company’s new strategy, a change log has not been included.

In other words, although this is a recommended download, it’s pretty difficult to say what’s new, but we’re hearing from some users that bug fixes and performance improvements are more or less noticeable after the update.

The previous version of the Health app brought improvements specifically aimed at Microsoft Band 2, so in case you’ve already purchased this device, make sure you update. This new release is expected to continue the series of improvements to the second-generation Band, but again, no noticeable differences seem to be there.

Microsoft Health is the companion app for the Band smart wristband and provides you with a closer look at data collected by the device, including steps, workouts, and sleep information.

The application is available on all big mobile platforms, including not only Windows Phone but also Android and iOS, and the Band offers cross-platform support, which means it can be used with the majority of devices out there.

Overall, this update is clearly a must-have for everyone who own a Band even though release notes are not available, so go ahead and download Microsoft Health to see if it brings anything new on the company’s Windows 10 Mobile platform.
