Microsoft has recently released a new version of the Mail app for Windows 10, adding a new series of improvements and bug fixes to an application that has already been updated several times since the new operating system came out on July 29.

The new Mail and Calendar app comes without a change log, which is more like an indication that Microsoft hasn’t included any big change, but only bug fixes and improvements here and there.

The company has already explained that change logs are provided only when a major set of features are improved or when there’s something noteworthy about a specific update, so if there are no release notes, it’s safe to assume that it’s just a minor update.

The Windows 10 Mail app was significantly improved in this new operating system and is now offered as a universal app. In other words, it comes with the same UI and feature set on all devices running Windows 10, including not only PCs but also smartphones and tablets. This is part of a broader strategy prepared by Microsoft for Windows 10 in order to bring together its platforms.

And yet, the Mail app is still missing some features as compared to desktop clients, but it’s still worth a chance, so all these updates come in very handy, given the fact that they improve performance and fix bugs.
