14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft is celebrating Back to the Future day with a new version of the Skype client that includes mojis specifically added to help you express yourself with special clips from the movie.
Available for just a limited time, the new Skype goodies are there on Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS, so no matter the platform you are running the VoIP client on, you should quickly update the app while these new mojis are still there.
“Now, the future is here. Looking back on 80’s technology, we have come even further than Back to the Future predicted. Who would have thought wearable technology like HoloLens or real-time translation with Skype Translator would have even been possible?!” the Skype team wrote.
This new version of Skype also includes some other bug fixes and performance improvements, so even if you're not a big fan of “Back to the Future,” it's still worth a try. Microsoft hasn't provided a detailed change log of what's fixed, as per the company's new strategy that only brings us release notes when something significant is included, but just as usual, when new versions are published, everyone should get it to stay up to date.
As a conclusion, it doesn't really matter if you like “Back to the Future” or not because this version is still worth a try, so go ahead and download Skype for Windows or for Mac right away to see what's new.
