Start Menu 8 is one of the apps that bring back the original Start menu in Windows 8 and Windows 10, and thanks to a recent update, the very same features are available on Threshold 2.

As you probably already know, Threshold 2 is the latest update for Windows 10 computers, and some of the apps that were designed for previous versions of Windows are no longer compatible unless developers specifically add support.

Start Menu 8 version 2.4.0.1 now runs smoothly on Windows 10 Threshold 2, and although no big changes are available as compared to the previous release, it's good to see another Start menu app adding support for this OS version.

According to the official change log, in addition to full Windows 10 compatibility, version 2.4.0.1 also comes with options offering easier switch between classic Start menu and Windows 10 Start menu, but also better localization and language support.

The app can fully take over the built-in Windows 10 Start menu, so you won't even see Microsoft's version anymore should you decide to install it. At the same time, it also includes options to quickly access the default Start menu in case you need it temporarily.

Overall, this app is really worth a shot if you're looking for the familiar Windows 7 design, so download Start Menu 8 to give it a try right away.
