There are two things that Grand Slam champion Roger Federer and Microsoft founder Bill Gates have in common: the passion for tennis and their commitment to making the world a better place with their own foundations.

The two decided to combine these two things and set up an exhibition tennis match on April 29 in Seattle at Key Arena. All proceeds will go to the Roger Federer Foundation supporting children’s education in African countries.

In case you’re wondering, Federer and Bill Gates won’t play against each other, but they’ll actually be a team against American tennis star John Isner and a second celebrity whose name is not known just yet. Tickets will go on sale on April 6.

After the friendly one-set doubles match, Federer will also play against Isner as part of a best-of-three-sets match.

“I'm a huge fan of Roger's work on and off the court,” Bill Gates said. “We share a love of tennis (although he might be a little better than I am) and a belief that all children deserve a world-class education. Roger's foundation does great work to support education in Africa, so it will be a lot of fun to play alongside him for such an important cause.”
