They say Apple and Microsoft aren’t exactly best buddies in the tech industry, but since it’s the holiday season and Christmas is only a few weeks away, the software giant has decided to bury the hatchet and spread some wishes for the Cupertino-based rivals right in front of their flagship store in New York.

Microsoft’s workers at the company’s new store in New York on 5th Avenue decided to pay a visit to their neighbors working for Apple, and with help from the local NYC children’s youth choir, sing them a song to spread holiday wishes.

The result was a huge crowd living in harmony, with the video you can watch below gaining praises from pretty much everyone across the world, especially because Microsoft has shown a completely new attitude and tried to become friends with none other than its rivals.

“To celebrate the holidays, Microsoft employees, who were selected from across the country, gathered together, meeting each other for the first time, at the new Microsoft 5th Ave Store to spread some holiday wishes. Joined by a local NYC children's youth choir, they share a message of peace and harmony with their neighbor down the street,” Microsoft says in the description of the video.

Obviously, this doesn’t mean Microsoft won’t continue the fierce fight against Apple in the tech industry, but it’s good to see two long-time partners finally becoming friends.
