14 DAY TRIAL // WhatsApp Beta has just received another important update, this time improving the file sharing feature with better document support for Windows Phone.
As we told you before, WhatsApp is one of the companies that are still betting big on Windows Phone, so new updates, at least for the beta version, arrive on a regular basis.
This new update makes it possible to send Office documents from a Windows Phone device, as the previous versions only allowed users to receive these files on their handsets. As aggiornamentilumia.it writes, this update makes document sharing possible on both ends, while also including all the previously-released features of WhatsApp.
For instance, the video below, which provides a short demo of the new WhatsApp Beta version in action, shows that the app comes with more new wallpapers, including solid colors and patterns, the new conversation UI that aligns to the design of Windows 10 Mobile, new placement for the call icon, and other performance and stability improvements.
This update is exclusive to the beta version, which in its turn is only available for members participating in the testing program, but all these features should be included in the public release anytime soon when another update for the stable build is offered.
