14 DAY TRIAL // A new version of WhatsApp is now available in the store on both Windows Phone and Windows 10 Mobile, but just as it has happened with the last few releases, there is no change log available to let us know what exactly has been modified this time.
Basically, the WhatsApp update is most likely focused on fixing bugs and improving the performance of the application on both operating systems, but there’s no doubt that the developing team has had more work to do on Windows 10 Mobile.
The update, which has also showed up on our Lumia 950 XL, seems to bring a small speed improvement, as the application appears to load faster than before. This is clearly good news for Windows 10 Mobile users, especially because the operating system is still more or less affected by bugs that could have a big impact on the overall performance of the platform.
On the bright side, WhatsApp is one of the apps that are frequently updated on Windows Phone and Windows 10 Mobile, which is living proof that some developers are indeed interested in making their apps run smoothly no matter the platform.
