14 DAY TRIAL // WinZip is the latest big company that launches an universal app on Windows 10, as the powerful compression tool can now work on both PCs and smartphones powered by Microsoft’s latest operating system.
The app provides almost the same features as the standard Win32 app, but with a touch-optimized interface, so you can use it on phones and tablets quite easily.
It allows you to create, open, and edit archives, offering at the same time encryption options and support for several cloud-based storage services, including Dropbox, Google Drive, and Microsoft’s OneDrive.
The application can be used for free for 20 days, but a subscription is then required. A one-year subscription is available for $7.99 (€6.5).
