You can run the application right after download is done, since you don’t have to go through a setup process to make it work. This means you can also carry it around on a thumb drive to use on other computers, without having to worry that the target PC suffers any damage, because registries are not modified to enable functionality.

The application only works with JPG pictures, and to add them, you need to rely on the built-in browse dialog, because dragging them over the main window has no effect. On the other hand, it’s possible, and advisable to load more at once. They’re stored in a list, which can be set to display filename, path, as well as picture and description.

Upon selection, the picture is shown in the dedicated preview area. You can configure scale at which preview is generated, but you can’t resize the main window, and the available space is pretty cluttered, making it difficult to work with a zoomed-in picture.
