PDF Stamper

PDF Stamper is an easy-to-use application that enables you to apply text watermarks to your PDF documents for copyright reasons.

It features the necessary and suffice options for carrying out this task, making it suitable for users with no experience in PDF processing software.

Installing this tool takes little time and effort, since there are no special options or third-party offers bundled with the setup file. Just keep in mind that you must have .NET Framework installed, otherwise it won't work.

When it comes to the interface, PDF Stamper adopts a normal window with a simple design and layout, where you can resort to the built-in file browser to locate and open a PDF document, enter the text you want to embed as a watermark, as well as pick the destination folder and let the program take care of the rest.

No confirmation message is brought up to the screen to let you know whether or not the task was successful, so you can open the output directory and launch the new document in your PDF viewer to examine results. The text is diagonally embedded on the page and has a look that reminds us of Microsoft Word's clipart.

Unfortunately, it doesn't implement settings for applying watermarks to multiple documents at the same time, previewing results, or for customizing the watermark size and position on the page.

We haven't experienced any stability issues in our tests, thanks to the fact that the program didn't hang, crash or indicate errors. It left a small footprint on the computer's performance, since it used a low amount of CPU and RAM to work properly.

Too bad that PDF Stamper doesn't make room for configuration for advanced users looking for more control over the PDF creation process.
